1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Hemisphere Academy La Esfera platform ("the Academy", "the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must not use the Platform.
2. Institutional Nature
Hemisphere Academy La Esfera is an academy of continuing education, professional development, and specialized training. It is NOT a university, college, accredited institution, or degree-granting institution unless approved institutional evidence has been published stating otherwise. Certificates issued are certificates of completion or participation, not academic degrees.
3. User Accounts
To access student features, you must register and create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities performed with your account. You must provide truthful information during registration and the admissions process.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform solely for legitimate educational purposes. You must not: attempt to access other students' data, bypass security controls, share assessment answers, use automated tools to extract data, or engage in activities that compromise academic integrity.
5. Assessments and Academic Integrity
Assessments (tests, assignments, discussions, and the Global Impact Capstone) must be completed honestly. The use of artificial intelligence must follow the Academy's AI Use Policy. The Academy reserves the right to review assessments and require revisions when necessary.
6. Certificates
Certificates are issued only upon satisfactory completion of program requirements. Public certificate verification is available through the validation page. Certificates may be revoked or corrected by the Academy if determined to have been issued in error or if issues affecting their validity are identified.
7. Scholarships
Scholarships granted by the Academy are subject to published eligibility criteria. The Academy reserves the right to modify, suspend, or close scholarship programs. Scholarships do not imply unverified sponsorships or partnerships.
8. Corporate Training (B2B)
Corporate training programs are subject to specific contracts between the Academy and the contracting company. Corporate licenses are limited per contract terms and may expire according to the agreed expiration date.
9. Volunteer Participation
Academy volunteers participate under a voluntary agreement and are not considered students, employees, graduates, or hired staff. Volunteer participation does not imply an employment relationship.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Academy provides educational services with the utmost diligence but does not guarantee specific employability, income, or professional achievement outcomes. The Academy is not responsible for technical disruptions beyond its control.
11. Modifications
The Academy reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
